One-to-One Sessions
Do you ever get to a point with you work and wonder - I don’t know where to take it from here?
Formal education like a university and the rigidity of institution learning isn’t for everyone. If you prefer being able to customise your education to suit your learning style, then my one to one mentoring sessions could be what you’re looking for.
I find that some photographers are quite protective and don’t want to give their ‘secrets’ away. I don’t believe in that idea and I am fortunate enough to have a gorgeous network of very talented photographers and creatives who I often engage for help and advice.
This access has been invaluable in developing my own work and now I am ready to share my knowledge with others through one to one mentoring sessions.
These are tailored 1 hour block sessions that are all about you, and what you would like to learn. They’re open to everyone worldwide (we’ll just have to work out that tricky time difference thing!) all you need is an internet connection and something like Zoom so we can chat face to face!
During our video chat, some of the areas I can help with include:
• Studio Lighting – gear recommendations, lighting setups
• Knowing your camera – Getting the most out of your Camera - settings, sharpness, lens choices
• Workflows – making sure you have a flow that works for you and allows you to create consistency in your work.
• Capture One Pro – making the switch from Lightroom.
• Client Relationships – Connecting with and motivating your subjects.
• Colour – Colour consistency, colour theory, the ways you can use colour to enhance particular things in your work.
• Post processing – everything from removing distractions, colour grading, composites, my favourite tools to use in Photoshop & Capture One Pro.
• Image critiques & folio building – choosing images that work together, taking your images to the next level, providing possible creative paths to take your images.
While my main expertise is studio photography, post processing and colour theory, I also have extensive knowledge in all aspects of photography and image critiquing so don’t be afraid to ask any questions no matter how big or small!

per hour
(Reduces to 100/hr for repeat sessions)

‣ You will receive a video recording of the session so you can go over what we discuss during the session.
